Afternoon Mr Edge sah, how goes the time off all relaxed etc.....not that i would ever consider using the forum for my own ends....but! If you do decide on a case change there's a spare 800d here, Loudbobs got the 1st one and this one will be ready from tommorrow :D

Ahh the weekly tiffy showoff thread as I now know it nice one :D

Have you overclocked your 470 yet :)

Mine is now at 840/1680/1670 @ 1.025mV gets really warm though so only like that when I am awake otherwise its at standard during sleep time :D

Yeah - the 470 has been at 750/1500 for a couple of months now
The 480 is only at 725/1450 at the mo - I will oc it after upping the volts, but will wait until I go back to work next week as I dont want to risk crashing the rig and screwing up my remote access...

Nice overclock on the 470 btw :p

Ah yeah don't want to bugger that up now would ya :D

I don't know what sort of overclock to expect from these I haven't looked elsewhere only what you guys have and It seems that what I have is the norm for a air cooled card, I really want another one now though :D :D

Marine - Just ignore for the time being (Seti does that from time to time).

For those who are water cooling the GTX470 & GTX480 - MSI After Burner 1.6.1 allows you to up the voltage past 1087mV.

Happy Days :D

Edit: It lets you adjust upto 1213mV - then snaps back to 1087mV (on the GTX470 - as I don't have the GTX480 and check it).

Not quite so Happy Days :(

Mornin' all - doom merchant here! ;)

Well, looks like they've taken the quota system live for anonymous platforms (optimised apps). I'm not sure if it has been live for a while or not, but I had 44 ghosts time out on me yesterday (they were 'sent' with a 2 week deadline), which zapped my quota. Might just have enough if I can get a couple 'o' hundred more today. We also have some server message weirdness going on. Methinks things are gonna get ugly in a bit! :(
