Nice to know, looks lush. Thanks for the bench.1080Ti killing it at 4k, maxed out.
Question to those of you that played the earlier Tomb Raider games. I seen a little bit of this and Rise, and liking what I seen, so one day I be going to play them but wondering if any of the other Tomb Raider games has to be played first ?? If so, which ones and what order ?
Yep it looks for Windows 10 HDR being enabled so no way to enable HDR without that unless Nixxes go back & change it. Windows 10 HDR is directly tied to Intel's Playready 3.0 DRM scheme! This is why I cannot enable it either as even though my Display is HDR & allows me to watch or play Full HDR 4K content from either my Xbox1X or standalone 4K HDR UHD Player thanks to this Playready 3.0 DRM I cannot watch or play any HDR content on the same display on my PC even though the GPU is a GTX1080 which is HDR capable HDR on PC is an absolute mess as it also excludes AMD CPU's or motherboards which do not have an Intel GPU present on the motherboard & enabled as well an Intel SGX CPU!Is the only way to enable HDR by having windows HDR enabled? Other games (Destiny 2, AC origins, Madden 19) have no need for desktop HDR enabled for it to be toggled in-game whereas Tomb Raider requires it. If I have desktop HDR off the option is greyed out in the menu...really annoying, any workarounds or am I doing something wrong?

Enjoying the game maxed out on my x5650 with 1080Ti @1440p running on SSD. Have noticed though there is the odd audio glitching here and there which occasionally puts voice out of sync in cutscenes. I noticed this to a worse extent on a twitch streamers playthrough, hopefully it will be patched.
I fully agree its why I had to buy an Xbox1X 6 months ago as far cheaper than upgrading my current PC to HDR allowed on Windows 10 spec! Some PC devs have worked around this by not linking HDR to the Windows 10 HDR feature set. This game sadly is not one of those its tied to Win 10 HDR being enabled on the desktop. In about 6 months I will just buy an under £20 Xbox1X game disc to enjoy HDR thenIt sounds farcical, If they want a feature to be adopted they need to make it freely available. All they've done here is limit it's use, I thought they wanted HDR to be more than a fad.

I suppose this won't run too great on a 1070 at 1440p? Only a moderate interest in it so far but I quite enjoyed the first two games so I'd probably want to get it at some point.
Upgrading to a 1080Ti is too costly, damn:/

It runs fantastic on a 1070 at 1440p, everything on max for me. There is the odd stutter but that's a game issue that will affect everybody no matter their spec, sure they will patch that pretty quick
Thanks. Already have Tomb Raider 2013 so will play that one first one day and then the others. Appreciate the replay !Play the Reboot trilogy in order of release, Tomb Raider (2013),Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider, That's the order of release and how I played them, I think you should stick to that as doing it different won't allow you to see hoe the game tech evolves through the series, the first two were both excellent games and hopefully Shadow of the Tomb Raider will continue the trend.
Disable Motion Blur fixed some of the stutter. I also disabled all AA & Vsync now its finally almost playable @ 4K maxed out! LOL no wonder Steam forums already have well over 70 pages of tech issues tomorrow its going to grow even more lots of audio issues as well (Some caused by FPS stuttering). Either Denuvo DRM or Nvidia gimpworks causing this issue as well methinksIt runs fantastic on a 1070 at 1440p, everything on max for me.
