Shark Attack - your thoughts?

I dive in water that is someone elses home, I've got to expect the inevitable one day..

I wouldn't want the predator killed just because it thought I was a free lunch.

Life is full of risks, bring it on and I'll suffer the consequences gladly.

For those thinking diving alone is wrong I guess you have been under PADI instruction way too long.
The best dives you'll ever have are the ones you dive on your own.

My logbook is full of signatures of a buddy called Solomon. ;)

the sea is a hunting ground / resource, its not a natural human place to be, u cant wake up under water and swim down the shops, we are land mamals, thats natural to us, and forget all the creatures ure on about, we are talking about a shark, 1 thing that lives, breathes, kills , produces offsring in water!
Exactly.

If its a hunting ground, it is a natural territory. It how ever is not a natural habitat. Hence we can't wake up under sea. The two are different.

Where? please point it out, I have asked many questions in this thread which yet remain un answered by you.

So you agree using tools which is learnt, but say If we learn to swim it can be considered natural territory. Even though lots of terittory requires learnt skills to survive?

Like what? What have I responded to. Fancy responding to birds learning to make nests, I see you totally ignored that.

ok then, if its the sharks "habitat" its like walking into your house and making a cup of tea, then when u say somthing , eat you. he is doing what is natural in his home, he lives there, we dont, we have no right to kill anything that is in its own habitat

That doesn't make any sense.

Nope I said, who taught the first primate to use tools? please dont try and swing this thinking you have a point.

Responded to that ages ago, its you who choose to ignore my answer.

That doesn't make any sense.

Only for you.

Why does it matter? What's your point?
Animals can learn and try new things out. Just look at videos of octopus, under scientific experiments. That show logic and reasoning.

ok, so u think humans own the whole planet, we are above everything and anything. we have the rights to go into another creatures place of life and exterminate what we feel like. god complex much?

That's a totally different question.
I am merely talking about natural territory. There is no Implied rights involved.

Whats that got to do with this argument? a Human doesnt belong naturally in the sea.

The hole point of it is, if there is learning you think it can't be natural. Therefore the birds which scientifically were studied, can never reproduce as their first nests are successful. Or any other learned behaviour.
And therefore our only natural terittory is a few isolated pockets in Africa where we first evolved, but you won't agree to that either. So which is it? It can't be both.

Nor do crocodiles, birds, certain insects and about a thousand other animals then.

Why do we not naturally belong in water for the purposes of hunting.

The clue is in the word "natural" humans do not belong in the sea "naturally".We need either equipment to survive/hunt.

And as i repeated before and for the umpteenth time, we survive just minutes at sea.

this argument is a bit silly tbh, fish live in water, we live on land, if a creature came into our home (deadly one of course!) you would kill it. The shark was doing the exact same thing. I see nothing wrong with what the shark did at all.

We do not need anything other than ourselfs to survive for brief periods. Just like many other animals.

Minutes? We can survive hours. Some birds can only survive minutes as well, yet they hunt at sea.
