3rd party piece of software called sketches
Basically screwl and then shake like an etch'n'sketch to clear it. It has made many girls go "OMG" and shriek with excitement. In short, it helps you pull women
Any suggestions?

The 3G iPhone 2 has been confirmed by Steve Jobs, and will likely be announced @ Macworld on the 15th of Jan.Nothing has been confirmed by Apple, so no one knows when/if anything else is coming out.

GPS is just speculation and rumour though.

Further to this, Telefonica leaked it will be out in May; http://blog.wired.com/gadgets/2007/11/3g-iphone-in-ma.html - which is likely, if it is (as expected) to be announced at Macworld on the 15th Jan.Ahh yeah, he said that a 3G iPhone is already in production.
I stand corrected.
Its has to be 1.1.1 or lower, OTB (out of the box) 1.1.2 iphone CANNOT be unlocked.......................yet
I still can't decide if an iphone is worth it, I have a work blackberry but I'm trying to carry it around less so I actually stop working at the weekends so I'm in the market for a new phone.
I have an ipod touch, which I've jailbroked so it's got almost all the same apps as the iphone and I like the idea, plus the adverts catch my imagination (find out what films are on, text a friend, find the nearest cinema etc...sure I could do that all on my blackberry but it's not as easy or integrated and I still carry round an ipod as well).
If a 16GB iphone gets announced i could well be tempted, but then again I'm also tempted by the idea of a nokia 6500 - tiny and seems a reasonable phone plus I'd feel better stuffing it in my pocket when I'm going out, the iphone is still a bit of a brick...
I agree though, I go into the apple store and I could afford to buy one easy but it just doesn't quite seem compelling enough. ultraportable macbook tho, thats a done deal the second it's announced...
