Im tempted to get another after I sold my last one for a tidy profit!

Someone on an auction site has 3 for sale, £285, says unlocked to any network except 3, running 1.1.2. But he doesn't actually have them, he orders them once someone wins the auction, wonder if they are straight from Apple and 1.1.2 OTB! Would be a waste of money if it was!

otherwise Ill sell my week old iPod Touch + Blackberry 8100 and iphone should come to £85!
 
They will be US ones if they are unlocked to any network, or a hardware unlocked UK ones using TurboSim or similar.

Cheaper to buy one and do it yourself.

If you jailbreaked that iphone you would have the improvement instantaneously, i currently have 85 apps installed on mine :)

Nothing that the 1.1.3 update that apple is bringing will improve anything that is already on installer. But in saying that if you want to stay official there is no problem with that at all, i ran with the psp modding scene for ages then got a bit bored with it, now running the official firmware and have never been happier... lol maybe it just a phase im going thru but i tel ya i fraking love this iphone and i plan on loading the thing with as many useful apps as i can :D

Just downloaded the Beatbox update.... 36mb :O, good thing ive moved all my apps to the media partion with bosstool :P

What is beatbox? Any other apps you think i should download then? But i think 1.1.3 will have a update to be able to recieve MMS as at the moment i cant even get mms as a sms to tell me to go to a website as i believe jailbroken iphone get do this
 
Beatbox is a music making program, only just started playing with it and its very cool.

SMSD is a must which will enable multiple user texting, iblackjack, isolitare, Lockbox, camerapro, converter, listen, tunewiki, bosstool, NES and islots are just a few i would say are a must. All require a jailbreaked iphone and installer app.

Standard O2 package gives you that on the iphone, you can access the web addres from the phone, bit long winded but it works, full mms capability wont be long on jailbroken
 
Looks like tom will be buying a 1.1.2 tomorrow and holding onto it for the 14 day period.
Hopefully in that time they can unlock 1.1.2 as 1.1.3 should be out on tuesday after/during MacWorld? :)

Is your iphone jail broken? Mine is and I cant get o2 mms as sms to tell me the web address to view the picture. I think Legit iphone are ok it just jail broken phone that not getting them

Yep I'm jailbroken, never had an issue with the SMS . Try a full reset and see what happens after that.

How do i do a full reset does it mess up the jailbroke? My phone is also been unlocked to use my current o2 sim card not with with the one came with the phone would that make any different?
 
if you do a full restore it will wipe the lot, I cant get the MMS to work properly either, its still very hit and miss, rather then risk wiping your phone just wait til 1.1.3, its not far off, im hoping that will have it as standard.

Settings> General> Reset> Reset All Settings

My Visual Voice mail wouldn't work until i did this and don't worry it does not affect your jailbreak :)

Don't do it if you feel any risk but all it does is reset the phone to factory settings jailbreaked or not....

Although i am using the sim it came with whether that would make any difference i don't know, the fact that your using another sim is from the jailbreak alone so a full reset should make no odds to the functionality of your sim.

Do some more research 1st, i don't want you to mess up your phone
