Show Off Your Dish (Picture Thread) (Rules added)

I may if I have time and remember. Take photos of the food I will be serving in the restaurant on Christmas day. Give you a idea of what it is that I do and how it is presented.

I'm guessing you're a chef Magic? What type of restaurant do you work at - are we talking toby carvery, country pub or posh restaurant?

:)

Country Pub/Restaurant.

Fresh home cooked food. Nicely presented. Medium of the line, price wise. ie, average spend per head is £25

I have been Head Chef here for some 7-8 years.

been a chef 23 years now. All over Europe and the UK.

That's my kind of place.

I enjoy the food so much more at a nice country pub with a roaring fire and fine ales.
Try and get a few pictures up if you can, would be nice to see them :)

Not a dish exactly :P

i have just put the clementines on to boil to try this recipe out, fingers crossed it comes out looking like yours and tastes great as its one of the deserts for tomorrow night! :)

the other recipe im trying out is for a baked berry cheese cake :)

Here are some quickies I took earlier this morning around 8am.

Creme Brulee's and some Tuile biscuits for garnish.

(ignore the black on the tuile's, you get that, it brushes off. Do not want you savages to think I burnt them ;-)

You can just see my steel on the left, that is how you wrap the tuile's to form a spiral shape.

Brulee's about the go in a water bath for 30 mins,

I kinda missed Christmas dinner this year, so instead of completely missing out, I thought i'd make myself one tonight.

Better late than never :D
