Tasty Steaky!

Get a griddle pan nice and hot.

Then select you man meat, this was just a bog standard, decent sized rump steak I paid a pound for, yes that's right one English pound (my butchers a good 'un)

Oil your steak with a little bit of olive oil on both sides, black pepper and that's it and whack it on the griddle.

Cook that bad boy for as long as you like it done and then flick his punk ass over.

Let your steak rest for a couple of minutes while you plate everything else up.

I had mine with dauphinoise potatoes and some vine tomatoes that I roasted with a drizzle of olive oil, salt and pepper and then added balsamic vinegar with thickens up slightly in the oven.

I served this particular meal with a cheeky little number from 2011 called V'imto, was very pleasant but I have to drive so couldn't lash a few beers like I wanted :/

Today's lunch/dinner/brunch tomorrow:

Started off as a tortilla but I didn't have enough potatoes so I added some peppers. Not as nice as I remember it being but not bad for a first attempt.
