Good friend of ours, their daughter passed away just before her 3rd birthday, so they wanted a cake for the memorial. The wife did mr Tumble's bag for them.

Loving the last few posts - very impressive!

While not a dish, per se, I've decided to make some mincemeat this year, here it is, in its uncooked state! :D

After cooking, it amounted to 7 jam jars full. Bring on the mince pies! :D

Bit late in the year to be making them I know, but I wanted to give them a go. I'm pretty happy with how they turned out :D

Mmmm that looks yummy. Pork belly is definitely my favourite cut of pork. How long did you cook that for and did you do anything specific for the crackling?

Caesar salad with Madagascan tiger prawns and parmesan croutons

Bloody prawns were a quid each

My first post in here, and I think in fact the food section.

Here is my first attempt at a 'posh' Steak Sarnie!

Cooked this the other night - Pardon the iPhone quality Pictures.

- STEAK! cooked in Thyme infused oil with chopped chillies and roasted peppers. Warm Ciabatta bread
- Baked Portabello Mushroom with chopped chilis and spring onions, topped with mature cheddar
- Selection of Olives I picked up from the Good Food Show

Mmmmm making me hungry!

With the pork, I had the skin off the joint to roll it, then back over the top and secure. Make sure that the skin is as dry as possible and well salted!

Wow, there is some fantastic dishes being cooked today guys and well done. It kind of makes me feel lazy for having a Indian take away for Xmas dinner
