That reminds me - never posted the TM125 I bought on this thread. It's actually my 15 year old son's bike, but I've been having a go on it whilst I decide what I want to buy (probably KTM 250 EXC)

How much did you pay for the TM125? What year is it? I'm going to get myself another mx bike when my daughter can ride a ktm sx50 on her own, not sure if to get another 250 4 stroke or a 125 2 stroke (man I miss my KX250F soo much)

Paid £1600 and it's a 2006 bike. A few people warned me off TM because if the parts issue, but tmukonline sell everything I've needed so far (new air filter, clutch plates, sump plug and clutch slave o-ring)

It's a lot of fun for a 125, although I suspect a 250 4T would be easier to ride fast.

Yeh I'll probz get another KX250F, I've never owned a TM, they look very nice tho, I thought it was a husaberg as the blue is similar.

What's tho most reliable 250 4t nowadays? Yamaha and KTM seem to be the most common at the tracks

Got this a few months back for the summer...

Some people say they're a bit dull, but it handles well and I enjoy riding it. /shrug

One of the best do-it-all bikes out there. If it wasn't for the ridiculous insurance costs for me as a soon-to-be new rider, I'd be looking at one as a first bike.

Posted a while back i was picking up my new bike!

What can i say! jeeee wizz she is fast! and fun and handles amazing and for my 1st ever road bike being a cbr600-rr5 its perfect!!!!!!!!

Great choice and an absolute animal , they aren't called Hyper-retard's for nothing , don't let the tank range catch you out though !

I'll have to keep an eye on that - think it's only a 15.5 litre tank - saying that... I did get well over 100 miles to about 12 litres; so might be a similar range to my old R1.

Awesome

One of them is on my list of bikes to test as a first "big" bike once I do my tests, along with the KTM 950SM, Aprilia Dorsoduro, Monster 696/796/1100 and so-on :D

You can get extended tanks for them, but they're not cheap!

Now, get a set of Termi's on there!

Were you at Box Hill Ryka's on Saturday? There was a 796 HM there with the same, erm, dirty swingarm :p although the one there was in worse condition I think, flaking engine paint, looked well used! :D

Hey!!! Leave my dirty bits out of it :D

Wasn't me, I have just got back from Italy - where on day one, I saw three HMs! Never ever seen one on the road here, but they seem common as muck around Sorrento - think the grand total was six in the end.

Don't think I'll bother with different cans tbh, this bike came with an Arrow de-cat, that and the standards cans are plenty load for me; loads of pops and bangs, and turns most heads when out :)
