*** Show us your bikes! ***

It was just over £1600 from Black Country Motorcycles in Birmingham. They are supposed to be one of the better Chinese bikes but I've got a Haynes just in case! You also get a 2 yr warranty.

Did a ride out back to Leicester as my fist solo ride, nothing like jumping in at the deep end!

I'm definitely liking the supermoto style, loads of room on it, soaks up bumps brilliantly and can see over traffic. Seems good fun in the corners but I've only ridden a CG125 and XR125L to compare to and i'm taking it easy.

Here's me all Repsol Ranger'd up on a recent trip to the seaside :)

And yes - I know the lid doesn't match... :p

Got this a few months back for the summer...

Some people say they're a bit dull, but it handles well and I enjoy riding it. /shrug

they've made a mistake, that's not a 5th gen!

take it back and demand a proper one :p

seriously though lovely bike mate, and it will do literally anything you chuck at it.

Prepping my YBR125 for another week's commuting!

I'm definitely getting the itch to do my full test. I keep thinking I could hire a 600 and fail each module five times and it would still be cheaper than doing a DAS course :p.

Looking shiny

You can't hire one without a license though I wouldn't have thought, plus how do you get it to the test centre...all these extra complications make it tricky to do on your own bike.

It cost me £406 all in to get my license. That was £120 for the CBT, £81 for half a day training prior to the Mod 1 test (test fee included). Then £205 for an afternoon's training on Thursday, then a morning's training on Friday followed by the Mod 2 test (test fee also included).

If I had done any 125cc riding like you have/are then I imagine I could do away with at least one of the half-days which were charged at £65.

I would have thought there must be at lease one school somewhere near you that you can contact and just explain your situation to and that you don't want to shell out 5-600 quid on 5 days of training and they will accommodate your request.

Last nights run up past Gleneagles (Ryder cup prep is gathering pace up there, impressive groundworks going on just now), through Crieff and St Fillans then back down through Callander to Stirling. Mate on his Blade came too. By the time we got home both the bikes and our leathers were covered in a carpet of midgies and flies!:-

I have the XC in black.

I managed to get a belly pan, fender extender and tank pad thrown in along with the Triumph promo package as well when I got mine in July.

Going to get a rear hugger next pay day.

I've got friends in Norway and I always keep saying I'll have to ride over and visit one day. Such a beautiful country.

Looks glorious, where did you go? Which season?

We did Kristiansand - Bergen - Voss - Oslo - Larvik with various stops in between just 3 weeks ago. We were very lucky with the weather though so it may as well have been the middle of summer.

It really is and you really do! There's a slight lack of ferries at the moment since the Harwich - Esjberg route has been stopped but hopefully the Newcastle - Bergen will re-open soon.
