*** Show us your bikes! ***

Yeah, just had to be this shape..I had a proper hankering for the under seat exhaust. Black wasn't my first colour choice but couldn't not buy this one as only had 1 owner from new with full Triumph service history and it just looked amazing in the shop.

Indeed I'm a lucky boy! She's gotta be heading for Best Wife of the Year award - just ordered her gear too so she can come out on the back...she can't wait!

Very nice! Get the miles in getting used to it before the weather turns ;)

I commute for 40 miles everyday on it so getting a fair bit under my belt. It's my only form of transport but getting used to it. Got to love traffic...or not being effected by it. Got a good mix of roads from country lanes to dual carriage ways so getting a nice mix in.

I also live on what seems to be a very popular motorbike route from Aylesbury to Towcester: http://www.bestbikingroads.com/moto...uth-east-england-/a413--aylesbury--_77a1.html so getting to meet up and ride with others already :)

Had this a month now and loving it

Agree!

Nice buy, lucky with that history and its low mileaged 7.8k for a 09 plate is nothing.

I wish someone would buy me a birthday present like that! Looks awesome mate enjoy.

Me too... :(

Still haven't gotten round to taking decent pics with my DSLR so this Samsung Potato pic will have to suffice for now but here's a side shot as requested.

I'm not a fan of the look of the stuff that's been put on the tank from the previous owner but it does actually work well so in two minds whether to take it off or not...it does kind of spoil the looks a bit....but maybe it's function over form?

Oh, and the "No Parking" sign before anyone says anything...it's at my place of work and I'm having that sign changed to "Motorbike Parking Only" :p:D

Very clean! Let us know how long that lasts :)

Are you going to change the end can? I was riding behind one of these for a bit this morning and could only hear a slight triumph whistle and that was it

I've already cleaned it once in the 6 days I've had it! I shall be trying to keep on top of it especially as it's in use everyday. Was even thinking of getting one of those ACF-50 (?) treatments to protect it through the British winter.

As for the end can, it's going to stay like that for now, certainly for the first year as don't really want insurance to go up even though it's only £440 a year. I love the sound of it, when you're on the bike it's quite throaty and growly but with a definite whine when on throttle - quite quiet when idling. I actually quite like the sound and I also should be a little friendly towards neighbours...saying that I wouldn't mind it being louder :)

£5300 - which after trawling through various websites etc for the last 3 months seemed pretty reasonable for the condition, mileage and service history - although saying that they seem a bit more expensive than it's competitiors e.g. CBR-600RR and the like. There also wasn't that many available in the condition, age and mileage I was after.
