*** Show us your bikes! ***

Haha yeah it'll most likely rain tomorrow, had planned to go out for a little adventure tomorrow but will have to see what the weather is like, been lovely today though. :)

Dropped the Caponord off this morning and picked this 'little' minx up :)

Ex BMW demonstrator, used for dealership test rides rather than customer test rides. It seems to barely suffer from the vibration issues I experienced on other test rides. Odd, but I'm not complaining.

Not pictured but I added a Navigator V sat nav, as that integrates with the bike computer, and also a top box. A few mods to do and she'll be ready for the Alps next June.

So bite the bullet and traded in the R6 for this beaut!

Very nice :) I must admit I'm still tempted by these. I think I need another test ride, as the main thing that put me off was the terrible fuelling, but no one else mentions it so I think it was a duff bike!

Congratulations. I've just returned from a near on 3000 mile trip to San Marino, including Alps and Germany's finest sweepers (B500) on mine.

Returned an impressive 47 mpg. Didn't miss a beat, truly awesome motorcycle. Best part is.. 1, The positive attention it got from random Italians and Ducati MS owners looking to swap over due to reliability issues. 2, Getting to destination after 10 hours in the saddle and wanting to do it all again.

I only see two other XRs during my trip, every other bikes was a Multistrada! Common as muck :p

I think that must be a one-off as every model I tested had brilliant fuelling. 30 mph in 6th is fine.

I was originally put off by the vibrations in the 5 - 6,000 rpm range, but this seems to vary from bike to bike. They're there on the one I chose, but they're not invasive at all.

The design isn't as refined as the last generation of Multistrada, but it feels like a real step up in performance.

Beautiful!

I think my talent / experience has a way to go yet before I need to plug that chip in though!

Sure, why not. We're limited to one base, as we're flying out the wives once we arrive. They will fly into Geneva, so we're still open on ideas for a decent base (outside Switzerland, for the sake of our wallets) around the area. It needs to have good daytime facilities for the girls (shopping, lunching, spas etc) and be close enough to some decent day rides too.

Definitely France, and as close to the Swiss canton of Valais as you can for the great Swiss and French roads.

I'll ask around for any suggestions.

Very nice, nice colour too (I'm a big fan of white bikes!)

Awesome - if I had a very large garage with room for several bikes I'd have one of these just becuase they're sooo cheap for what they are, and guaranteed fun :D Just not practical in any way shape or form :p:D
