*** Show us your bikes! ***

Supposed to be good for the next three weeks too, after this weekend. I hope so - off to north Norfolk and then the Peak District to give the S1000XR a first proper run out.

Rains more here than in the UK :)

Yeah but when it rains here it stays wet all day, I loved florida weather, guaranteed rain everyday, rains for half an hour and then bone dry roads again within 15, perfect :D

But in seriousness yeah the riding season never ends, just the clothes you wear.

It's never over in the UK, you great big jessy :p

Grow some balls :p

Oh I'll be riding all year round like always, but there's a difference between riding to work and back in the wet/cold/dark and going out on a Sunday hoon when it's sunny and warm. You still get the nice dry days in winter but a sunny January day when it's 7 degrees isn't the same as a 25 degree sunny day in summer.

For floatation?
:D

Yeah you still get some nice dry crisp days that are okay for a hoon :) anything above 5c is good :p. Just don't try an get your knee down all the time, still have fun.

I commute in all weathers (bar snow and ice), it's still fun to me in the rain.

First run last night in over 5 weeks due to a recurring back injury. Still a bit sore so maybe I'm not ready to get back in the saddle just yet. Soon be time to tuck her up for the winter hibernation anyway.

I passed my test back in May and not been in a rush to get a bike. I have now got myself a 2001 600 fazer, I found this one locally with only two previous owners and 8k on the clock.

Looks nice n clean, have you ridden it yet? What you think?

I have had it about three weeks now and enjoying it very much. I did my direct access on a Honda Hornet which is similar so don't have much to compare it to.

Overall i think it is a good first bike to learn to ride on.
