£3200 (He was after £3500) - which I realise is over price going by parkers etc, but bike prices are well over just now, especially if you want anything up here (Dundee) start getting some more sensible (still over) once you get down to north Wales.

That justification out the way...I am more than happy with the price I paid given the condition and extras.

The K4/k5 command a premium anyway (I was looking at these for a while before deciding the RSV was what I really wanted!), and with such low mileage and great condition I don't think that's a bad price at all tbh.

Cheers good to know that others think it was a decent deal as well. Its already done a few hundred extra miles of after work rides, shame its raining today :( not even good for washing the bike just now.

New swingarm, shock and wheels! Also bigger front discs

The whole bike does feel a lot different actually. Im not sure if the suspension just needs properly adjusted or whether its just the new back end.

Does feel lighter, bit more jumpy. Shock is only the newer model zx6r one but does hold the road much better.

Still getting used to it - Its like a new bike

Nothing unfortunately, the recession hit my business pretty hard & I'm trying to pick up the pieces. It's been quite tough going but I'm getting there, it put me back a couple of years so no big toys for me for a while.
I don't even have 100% of a car to call my own, just the old business runabout!!. I suppose seeing as it's a Mondeo MK2, I should really get a mx5 too & be a true OCUK motors legend!! :D

If I do get another bike it'll probably be a big twin of some sort, KTM suderduke or some other equally lairy machine!
