As Valo says, an awesome breed of dog. Absolutly no malice in them ever, brilliant friendly dog, and again, probably one of the funniest breed, you just cant stay mad at them for long before they look at you with their funny faces.

Tinkerbell, will be mated hopefully during this season, providing Pugwash hasnt started batting for the other team..so I will have little puglets within a couple of months :D

Some beautiful dogs and quality pics in this thread! I love the Akitas. Is Fozzie an Akita or Norweigen Elkhound?

Fozzie is a Norwegian Elkhound, he is very much a handfull but he's starting to calm down a bit as he gets older. He has a very strong personality and a mind of his own so he has been difficult to train but we are getting there...

Incredibly hard to train, I think worse than Sibes. The best thing that happened to Mika was growing up with a very-well behaved Boxer (Dillon) when he was just a pup. He learned a lot from Dillon and I have the only Sibe I know that fetches and swims. I am even able to let him off the lead in short bursts.

Is there another mature trained doggy around you can introduce Fozzie to? As long as he hasn't become too territorial yet he should be able to make friends easily.

edit: aww, just saw he's 3. Probably too old.

Nice :) Do you work them? Genuine question here, but what's the "C Litter" and "D Litter" thing all about? How many litters do you breed? LOL

Haha no I don't breed them! We have two otter hounds called Quaver and Flower. Quaver is the one in the video. My mum and step-dad did a deal with the breeder (lady in video) where they were only allowed to keep the dogs if they agreed to them having puppies. Fair deal I guess as breeding these dogs is that womans life.

Everytime a litter is born, all the puppies have names beggining with the same letter. So with my dogs litter, they are all named names beggining with D. That's just how the breeder does and I don't know why :)

Thinking of getting a Boxer as my first dog but i'm in two minds, totally love the look of them but my sister thinks they look mean, since i would be shipping it round to hers when i go away i'm trying to show her as many pics as i can to convince her!
I have some fun happy boxer pics (with Mika), I'll try to remember to post them when I get home in a few hours.

I envy these threads.

I always wanted a dog but due to nobody being home in the day and we would never let a dog be alone for 6+ hours, next door has just got a dog again and they are starting to leave it outside a lot in the day and it never stops barking.

If I was ever going to get a dog it would be a lab.
