I haven't used one on my cats but you can get inflatable collars for use instead of the cone.
As horrible as it is for Florence, it is for her own good. I wouldn't of thought her wound would take to long to heal.
My cat actually managed to take her cone off (vet put it on).
She didn't have a go at her stitches so we were lucky. I felt so relieved afterwards as she looked absolutely down and depressed with it on.
LOL when she was pushing the biscuit bowl away with her cone though, bless![]()

Ah, cats are so fun and cute... I'll need to try to convince my girlfriend that cats are the way to go instead of dogs but she has her heart set on a rottweiler!
