Show us your kitty cats

Found a few clumps of hair today. They've been fighting recently and it's all him bullying her it seems. They're happy together most of the time so putting it down to play fighting but it really sounds horrendous and now the clumps of hair. Should we be worried.

Cat play fighting is a way for them to test their biting pressure when playing. My guess would be one bit a bit too hard and the other one reacted just as harshly. Possibly a lesson learned. If there are more clumps of fur found then that might be an issue afterall :D

Two points. With the flea medicine, make sure you rotate it. Rumour has it the medicine becomes less effective.

I will say my kittens play fight quite viciously at times that said, no fur is removed. They don't really bite. Just run at each other.

You say clump? What are we talking? There's 'clump's here which occurred naturally

He is very bullyish towards her, not only because he is so much bigger than her, but when she tries to come for attention with us he barges in and scares her off. When she is playing on the scratching post he comes over and scares her off that too.

They've been fighting a lot recently, lots of proper hissing and swiping and have seen he got a scratch on his nose from a fight yesterday.

Not sure what they do while we're away at work in the day time.

I'm actually a little concerned about Luna at the moment as three days a week I'm not home until 8 or 9pm so she's on her own for quite a while. I plan on getting a few more toys this weekend and eventually a couple of cat flaps (the layout of the house means I would need two to allow her access to the back garden) but they won't necessarily be any time soon (one would need cutting into a glass conservatory pane).
She currently lives in the living room and kitchen but tonight she gets to see the rest of the house so I'm hoping she will have enough space to not feel too confined. She did just spend 5 months at the rehoming centre, in a small "cell", but there will have been regular contact with people throughout the day :/

I do that with kittens I have had. leave the radio on so there is noise in the house and radio 4 is the choice as it's mostly human voices.

Being South African I am always munching on biltong but these days I have to eat it so covertly or else the cats are on me like glue. They absolutely love it. A South African does not share his biltong, not even with his furry bros.

Massive order from zooplus came yesterday, I tried to use a 10% off code they had mailed me but it had expired.... emailed asking them for another so they sent me a 10% off code valid for a year! Zooplus are fantastic and because of that small gesture got another coupla hundred off me lol

Even better the dry food mine have (sanabelle urinary) finally come in a large resealable pack, was sick of decanting 10kg+ of dry food into random containers.
As stupidly simple as this is I thought it was fantastic as the old bags were a right pain.

Unpacked everything, went out for a bit... Came back to a catface shaped hole in the side of the bag >.> little sods lol

I also like zooplus. I ordered loads of litter from them and unfortunately all the bags came split. I emailed to complain and got an instant refund of 20% (no litter lost though, just loose in the box).

My cats have become rather attached to me.

For those of you who use a litter tray, which litter do you use?

I'm using the small wood/sawdust pellets at the moment but I find that they're not great at dealing with smell and in fact have an odour themselves, which is a bit of a pain. The house constantly smells of sawdust or ***** sawdust :/

I've got catsan. Tiny flat and there is never any smell. I have no sense of smell myself but whenever I ask visitors, they say it smells just fine in my house. :)
