Show us your kitty cats

Ronnie came home again today with another baby rabbit - that's about 7 in 8 days - I think he is wiping the family out.

He ate the head yesterday but didn't touch today's - I throw them over field now as they stink bin out after a week even when sealed in plastic bag.

Just found him resting after his safari

Just had to hold a cat as it died after being ran over :(

Was jumping and spasaming about the road all over the place so my mate stopped and I jumped out to get it off the road.

Was surprised it didn't bite or scratch me, went all still and shivering in my arms (you could see its head/brain was ruined) rang some door bells till someone answered but by the time they came to the door the little thing had died.

The guy who ran it over had park dup and came down the road with his gf so I left the cat with them to try and find the owner.

Fortunately had a spare shirt in work but pants are still soaked in blood.

:(

You mean you're owner.

She lets me think I'm her owner. Both of us know deep down she's the one in charge ;)

On a serious note, she hates having her paws touched. I have a proper pair of cat/dog nail clippers, but the only way of using them is to hold her down. Not something I like doing. (Hope there's no radfems reading this).

Any way to clip her nails without using physical force? She's really been tearing up the carpet and sofa, and it does need to be curbed.

That is horrible. But good on your for stopping. I hope they managed to find the owner.

Have you considered actually disciplining the cat? Ours did it at first until we told him not to, and now he just uses his scratching posts.

If Luna does something I don't want her to, I'll make a big noisy fuss, clapping my hands and generally being scary until she runs off. It doesn't take too many incidents before she knows not to do it. The problem is, she knows not to do it when I'm around but will happily do whatever she wants when I'm not there (evidence of jumping on the kitchen counter etc) :p

Tilly understands what no and leave it means but will be tapped on her nose if she really is being naughty but rare I have to do that as she picks up raised tones quickly!

Tough call but a real decent thing to do to calm it. Poor thing but thanks for doign what you did. Human kindness is a great thing.

Serious question to the long-haired cat owners (that’s cats with long hair, not owners with long hair, before some smartarse jumps in :p).

Do they get poop stuck in their bum fur? I’d really like a big fluffy cat, but am a bit squeamish about the idea of cutting poop out of its fur.

You just dip them in the bath (warm water, not too hot) for a few minutes and shake them around a bit.

That usually clears it.
