You don't need to wash cats - they wash themselves. Hope you got some good scratches for that.
With the long hair she sometimes has crapcidents that need to be taken care of, otherwise she leaves skid marks all over the kitchen floor.

That's an "I hate you" look if ever I saw one
Ask any Maine Coone breader and they will tell you there is no such thing as a Main Coone Cross Breed.
For some reason they think they are so closely bread that these crosses don't happen.
I too have what appears to be Maine Coone cross.
The big fluffy tail and "old mans hair" around his ears are dead give aways.
He also exhibts some of the Maine Coone traits like standing on his hind legs and also "fetching" things like a dog does.
They are so much fun - oh and despite his massive fluffy tail he's learnt to really not get it dirty in any way!
TimBrad - I would just stick to James Wellbeloved biscuits, and make sure there is always plenty of fresh water available. That's all I feed my cat (except the odd tin of Applaws) and she is incredibly healthy on it. They recommend sticking to kitten food until they are a year old.

Applaws food is about as high quality as it comes.
Have you tried Applaws Dry cat food?

Regarding your "cross", what's he like size wise? I'd say we had one, and he was large... But not stupidly large!
Here's a close up of our boy Max, he was about 7 months old (Yes a kitten lead was being worn)
