thanks for the kind words guys, he had a good life and it would have been selfish to keep him struggling the way he was
Definitely, no pain and now he's at peace.
yeh that is some comfort at least, it was a nightmare seeing him going down hill, house feels so empty with out him, he had dad and mum as well as my self right to the end all around him and he was purring

I'm sorry there's nothing I can say to make it better, it's impossible. I have 2 cats at the moment but I've lost 4 dogs. Nothing can make it better, but like I said, he had a brilliant life and he was lucky to have you.
thank you, i know this pain will pass, it is just so hard at the moment, i have lost count of the amount of pets i have lost over the years, the pain always eases off, gone but never forgotten, i think he wanted the needle, he didnt even wince when it went in and he was purring right untill he stopped breathing.
he was such a lovable good natured cat.
Fernley went to the vet for the first time with us for his check up. He wasn't impressed on the way but was fine during the visit and as soon as we got home.
The vet said he was a Chonkasaurus Rex (not her exact words) so he is on a bit of a diet! He's 5.7kg and should really be 5kg, so he is on 60 grams of food a day now.
Here he is glaring at the TV.
But sometimes he forgets to be grumpy and acts like a cat

ted is also going on a diet, he is way to fat now, were gonna nip it in the bud so to speak.

they pics were both taken tonight and in true gd fashion, they are on opposite ends of a corner sofa
these 2 cats were seperate before but they seem to be getting along, had ted at the vet earlier and no issues cept for his weight

Since our Ragdoll can't go outside, which means we can't open windows much and given the hot summers we've had, yup, £8000 later we're having air con installed across the house
it's like losing a member of the family.
Our pets are lucky that they can have this decision made for them.
dougal has passed tonight, he had a big lump on his stomach as well which the vet reckons was cancer, rip my furry pal, he will be sorely missed

Argument with a woman lol
I can't believe this.!!
Took Ronnie back to the vet today because he is scratching his ear again and holding his head down to the left- The infection is back again - Vet couldn't see his ear drum for crud - A microscopic check confirmed a slight infection so he is now back on antibiotics for two weeks.
Grrrr.
He is a big baby - whining and meowing - and frightened -his feet are soaked in sweat - Poor lad - had him on my lap for ages just stroking him and talking to him. - His breathing has slowed down now and he is relaxed.
Not sure who is more stressed out him or me.
