Well this is one of the two, she's the mother, eleven years old this year. The one I haven't got a decent photo of yet is the daughter, she isn't in much and wont stay still long enough for a photo

I loooove my cats. But I could have launched one of them across the room last night....

I know its love, I know its affection, But when you open your eyes at 2am in the morning to a little cat purring and meowing because shes proud of bringing you a spider....Its enough to make you fallout with her...

I have never gone from asleep to awake so fast in my life...

my cat never used to care about spiders at all, she was sat next too me one day and didn't even stop watching the TV while a spider was making a web between her ears.

Kittens (brothers 8-9 weeks old)!

We think their names will be Gizmo and Ted!

Gizmo (the blond one) - now 4months and a lot bigger - got in the bath with me yesterday! I was lying in there, and he was up on the egde, putting his paw in the water, clearly fascinated by it all. Then he clambered onto my chest, and layed down in a cm of water.

He definately hasn't got the brain in this pair of brothers!

I'm picking our new girl kitten (8 weeks) tomorrow.

A black and white nutcase according to my partner who's down there with the cats and kittens now.

Named by our 4-year old.... she will be called Flower, as he's seen a picture of her and he thinks 'she's beautiful like a flower'.... (sensitive 4-year old is sensitive lol)

Update on Tony

Had a call from CPL today, Tony had his OP on Monday and hes recovering well, I'm told he's more friendly now as they think the eye may have been causing his discomfort so right now he wants even more cuddles - Suits me down to the ground tbh

Roll on friday!

One question though...how do you get them to use the litter box?

Ive made friends with a black cat in the garden.. she dead friendly. I think shes adopted me as a second owner, and wants to come in all the time.

Anyway this other cat came on the scene and hes a right knob head, dead aggresive.. sometimes he lets you touch him.. other times he hisses and lashes out.

The other day the white cat lashed out at me and the black cat saw this and chased after her.

TBH Phate, I brought mine home as 8 week old kittens who had been living in a barn since birth, and they just - did.

They like to dig and bury, if the litter tray is the option for him he will more than likely just use it.

Don't put it near his food or bed, they don't like going to the loo where they eat or sleep.

Glad he's doing well you could get him a little pirate patch!

Yup cats will basically use the litter box instinctively. No training needed, awesome pet = win win!

Argh I really want a cat again. However have moved in with the missus who's a massive dog fan.

Arguments ensue around which pet to get. I need to put my foot down!

Try a soaking wet frog on your chest at 3am in the morning.

Just make sure he knows where it is by putting him in it, and he should be fine from there on.

Well, the colouring of her fur, is referred to as smoke. But as far as I am aware, only Egyptian Maus have smoke coloured fur.

The smoke coloured Egyptian Maus are truly stunning looking cats. I've seen pictures of them, but wasn't impressed, but when I saw them in the flesh, they appear almost ghostly.

Update on Tony



One question though...how do you get them to use the litter box?

Every now and again lift the cat up and set it on the litter tray to get her used to "gravel" type surface that she will remember to go to when needing the loo.
