Hehe he's hiding!

Was cowering behind a speaker, hes now between a cuboard and wall, he'll come out when he's ready :)

..then the photos begin :D

Glad he's home. :) Yeah he'll probably be nervous for a little while, you're taking the right approach by just leaving him to it. Might find for a few weeks that when new people come into the house he'll go hide again.

He's still hiding! I've walked over a couple of times and he's just looked at me!

I've put his food in a bowl and put it near him so he smells it, but even so he'll have to come out of hiding to eat...which is the plan :) - Plus I want to try and introduce him to the litter box before I go to bed...I don't fancy waking up to presents everywhere :p

He's more likely to investigate when you're not there. I wouldn't worry for tonight. You'll come down in the morning to find the food eaten and litter tray used, I can almost guarantee it :)

Tempt him with some squirty cream. That stuff is like crack to my cats.

^^ Mine are obsessed with yoghurts. Can't sit and eat a yoghurt without a cat ambush. When I had to get one of mine to take some horrible painkiller liquid stuff that she wouldn't take, I put it in some yoghurt every night and it was gone in an instant :D

Litter box is at the other end of the room though, out of sight unless you actually walk down there...think I should move it closer?

Could do, but I'm sure he'll find it. He'll have a good look around when you go to bed. But yeah if you're worried, move it closer to him for tonight. Don't put it next to his food dish though or you're more likely to find a present where you don't want it ;)

He might come and do his business on your bed. :D j/k

Cats like being clean he will investigate like has been said and most likely find the litter box and use it.

Lol well I'll bring the litter box down to this end of the room but keep it away from his food in that case :)
