Show us your kitty cats

24hrs later Ronnie has stopped limping but is a bit nervous when outside -didn't stray far from wife when she was out there.

Now tucked up on her lap in front of fire after spending half the day curled up on bed.
He is eating fine and so far no sign of any other wounds.
Cats are stressful aint they.

Leo has made it the whole day without a single accident, the first since we bought him home.

This litter is absolutely magic, and every time he has been to the tray and done some business we have been re-enforcing him with lots of praise and treats.

He just went for a wee, which I didnt hear, and came and got me then walked to the treat pot for his good boy reward.

I may have just created a monster....

Funny update with our Winston. My stepfather took him to the vets and a dog owner wasn't paying attention to her dogs so they wondered over to Winston's carrier. My stepfather described it as the whole carrier moving several inches forward and ninja like swiping because the dog (Cockapoo) went right up against it and got a very lightly bloodied nose. Winston walked out of that carrier as if he ruled the world. Not bad for an 18 year old and the owner didn't even notice (the dog was fine). Good boy Winston :p.

We had to have our cat Archie put to sleep back at the beginning of the year, he was 18 / 19 years old and been with us for about 11 of those.

He was also our first cat but we knew we would want another once ready and last week after visiting a local rescue centre we picked up Tia. We fully planned on not getting another black and white cat as it would remind us too much of Archie but I guess when you go to a rescue centre you can't plan you will just end up taking home the one that you know is right.

She spent the first 24 hours mostly hiding but soon started joining us on the couch.

Black and white cats are the best!

After wanting a cat for so very, very long, I will be collecting this little guy I've named Vega this time next week!

Very anxious but very excited, still need to pick up a few bits and pieces to keep us both entertained and amused once he gets home but I think I've got most of the basics. I can already tell that buying things for him is soon going to become my new obsession though! I've already booked some time off work from next week so he can get used to me and to save me worrying what he's getting up to when I'm not there!
