Show us your kitty cats

How old is yours?

I think older cats may not be too fussed but mine are still kittens (8 months old) and they feel the need to play with everything.

I sometimes put down old boxes as they seem to enjoy sitting\hiding in them or biting\chewing the boxes.
6 months last week.

She loves a good cardboard box. She’s sat in one now!

This is our first cat, but I’m already learning she can get to places I’d assume were impossible. She’s also odd in that she likes water. She’s been in the kid’s baths twice, and I’ve caught her paddling in the kitchen sink on more than one occasion!

Cats are odd, but great with it!

Has anyone else's Christmas tree taking a battering so far this year?

I find my cats crawling all over the presents and knocking off all the ball balls\treats\tinsel etc.

given up putting everything back as they just destroy it again lol
We haven't bothered with a proper Christmas tree this year as we know it will end up being decorated with kitten shaped baubles :p

They can get everywhere!

Mine like the bathroom sink (Drinking from the tap even though I put down fresh water multiple times a day), they like playing in the bath, they sit on the table next to me ready to jump on the mouse cursor as I work....(Luna is doing this now as I type this)

When we got Angel she disapperared. We found her in a wardrobe laying on the top of a hanging coat hanger. I couldn't believe how she was balancing on it. She was looking for a safe place because she was nervous of us to start with (she was an adult cat when we got her). Yes some cats love running water. Ours will often tap her water bowl with her paw to cause ripples before drrinking it. In summer she won't drink from the bowl but insists we fill up the watering can and she will only drink from that. Cats are weird but totally awesome.

Yeh, my cat would never drink water from a saucer.

However, he'd love to drink from next door's water fountain!

Thankfully, they were cat people as well, and didn't mind the intrusion!

One of mine eats cardboard boxes. Literally tears them apart. So the presents need to be hidden until the last moment. Surprisingly, the tree has escaped notice.

The only one, I had, that liked water, fell in to a pond when she was little. She swam to the edge with no problem, and the experience seemed to remove her fear of water.

Got my Petplan renewal for Cleo and Ozzy yesterday for their second year. A whopping £80 increase even though I have never made a claim. What a rip off!!

As for cats that loves water, Ozzy loves the stuff and is the first cat we have had that goes out of his way to get at running water. He even loves the rain which is unlike any other cat we have had. If I am brushing my teeth or washing my hands he jumps up into the sink and is straight in with a paw under the tap and licking the water off his paw. I recently ripped the bath out and fitted a proper shower and he goes crazy if one of us is having a shower and he can't get in. In the summer when I was watering the plants he was following me around and getting between the hose/watering can and the plants so it took twice as long to water them. We originally had water in bowls for them but when I realised he had a thing for water I got a drinking fountain and at first he used his paw to drink it just like he does with a tap but he soon picked up that he could just drink from the fountain although at first he was "biting" the water coming out of the fountain. He still makes a hell of a mess!! He's a beautiful big boy but he's not as bright as his sister. She's the thinker while he's the muscle!!

The problem is down to the vets, apparently. Most vets are not independent and there has been some concern that the large companies have been using their strong positions to force people in to paying significantly higher prices - which is reflected in insurance costs.
