Show us your kitty cats

Well four and a half months later, she has settled in well although still gets a little spooked at times and not quite brave enough to properly venture into our garden.

Tea

Initially thought she was getting chunky then realised her fur is just much fluffier / healthier than when we took her in, she likes to be heard when its breakfast and dinner time and the second you sit down she is already curling up on your lap.

This is at bed time. They've learnt that when I get into bed I'll lift my knees and make a tent for them to fight under the duvet and here they are looking at me to just get on with it. Its all great fun until they get bored fighting each other after 15 mins and then my legs become the targets. At this point I drag them out and they spend the next few minutes desperately trying to tunnel their way back under the duvet.

What a difference to yesterday morning. This morning I woke to her puking on the duvet and on my phone...ok well I'm up now I guess, she then decides to puke under the dining table then half on the dog bed/floor

Took her food away for most of the day...needed earplugs.

She has had a bit of food and seems happy enough.

@IvanDobskey - our Charlie used to do this to his poor brother Franco. Although when they were both over 5kgs, it got a little heated at times :D
Problem is, poor Bella is only 3kg and Bluey is a whopping 5kg :p

Just look at his tail hanging out one side and his belly out the other :p

Shame there isn't enough room on the wall for a second hammock. Although I suspect Bluey would still want whichever one Bella was in!

Poor little Bella, and wow, he grew quickly! 5kg already? Charlie had an exceptional tail as well. And yes you are completely right, he would always want the one Bella was in :D

I can't quite believe how big he is! He really loves his food :p Poor little Bella can't really compete with him size wise.

Funny thing is, he only seems to want the hammock when Bella is in it :p

Small update on lil ol May

All of the medication (we've had to do a spreadsheet and everything to keep on track of it) seems to be doing the trick. Her ulcer is still there, but substantially less discharge, and opening her eye for the medication is way way way easier than our first visit to the vets.

With that as well around the 3 week mark we're starting to see a little more of her personality starting to come out a little bit, and it's nice to know (we think) that she is now settling in. We didn't think she was particularly food motiviated; turns out she is and will beg quite loudly post-breakfast for more. Would like her to play a little more to shake off the weight, but the only way so far is with toys that have food in them and she has to try and get out

Here's a photo of her in slightly less than flattering circumstances - couldn't help myself
