E46's have been that way for years to be fair, they are well and truly in chav land now. (don't take that as an insult, I actually have an E46) :p

Seen one without the Mugen kit on the other day, they look terrible. Much better (never thought I'd say this) with the body kit. Wheels really suit it too, and future plans?

Yep! Fixed it cheers.

Lowered will look good, back seems to sit nicely at the moment, but arch gap at front could do with being reduced.
 
Here is a quick pic of my "questionable" wheels in the daylight. I'm really happy with them and once the car is cleaned (or the wheels get a bit dirtier) and the tyres are black again they wont contrast quite so much:
