Trusty old faithful. It's my second car, after I sold a Daihatsu Terios because it was getting far too expensive to just keep and run in general (I'm 21 and recently started going to college after working fulltime for two years);

It's not the best car ever, but it gets me from point A to point B and is easy on the wallet. I couldn't be more happy with it.

only a slight performance problem when it has rained hard but after 10 minutes it is OK again. I thought the same andy but it appears the VX takes it in its stride ...

What was the reason behind getting this motor Sam? Why did you not get a RX8, 350z or even a TT?

Becuase it's a far more focused, quicker and better handling car than any of those 3, especially the TT?

It's a much better car than those you stated. The VX220 turbo is a fantastic car,well abov the lotus elise even (IMO) and will hopefully be my next car in a year or so

The handling of the VX220 is superb and the power is ment to throw you back in your seat, however i havent driven one yet so i am just taking this from clarksons review and others i have seen.

Do you mean rough running, or an actual lack in performance when you boot it? Because you shouldn't be using the car's performance until it's fully warmed up

Glad to hear it doesn't cause a major problem though

yep its an FTO , problem is most on sale in auto trader claiming to be gtx are not .

RX8 is ugly. 350Z / TT are OK but i would get bored too quickly

Wouldent say its better than the elise, but it is a fantastic car

The power thing on topgear was a little bit "over the top" as i expected that feeling when i collected it haha

LOL i allways let it warm up and cool down etc but it tends to just feel a bit flat, as said before its a really common thing buddy
