Show Us Your Motors!

a few years ago i was helping my step mum collect a shed, we went around to her garage to find this in the garage next to hers

Reported to the old bill, was missing fair bit... stolen the night before.

When i used to sell cars at a vauxhall dealers, I had a man come in and his imercher? kit had been stolen from his sri astra. You dont even need to open the bonnet..he was distraught as it was the second time it happened and part exchanged for a 02 plate astra at the time.

We got his sri astra fitted a new bumper and put it on the forcourt. Two days later but kit was stolen again of the forcourt on a busy main road... lol

Car has been detailed and is like a mirror :) picked it up yesterday and took some pictures whilst it was fresh, I did promise to straighten that intercooler before the next set of pictures, but I broke that, its my next job I "promise"...

Full sized pictures please, I need a new wallpaper. :p

i think there is a bit too much photoshop for my liking.

Next to nothing in terms of photoshop, just took out some bottle caps and ran a define filter on it

Picture of the back of the camera, raw doesn't lie :)

What does the detail entail and how much does it cost? Never had my car detailed before.

My car is not goofy :(

The detailing consisted of a 3 stage process, basically my car has been resprayed and the bodyshop just couldnt finish the job to my satisfaction, cut corners here and there and after 3 times visiting them and months of them having my car I decided to give it to my friend who is a detailer, he resolved most of the problems I had with the paint work. Flattened, buffed, polished, I dont know the ins and outs of it but ill update my build thread with a few before and after shots he sent to me, but the difference is massive! Best thing is I do not have to polish/wax my car for a few years. Literally just wash it using the 2 bucket method and clean it down with detailing spray and wipe it down. This cost me almost £500 but it was over 14 hours of work, the bodyshop will be picking this bill up though!

Paintwork in the pictures now looks spot on, much more reflective than before, I can't wait to see the end "straight" product, nothing else to do to the car after that other than enjoy it?

The Supra looks fantastic, it's one car that's on my list of cars to own. I love the wheels too.

Has anyone told you that your intercooler isn't on straight? ;) :p

All the time :-(

Cheers. Plenty to do but body wise im happy with it. My speedo is not working so relying on sat nav, it used to work so suspect its a sensor. Eventually ill have to begin tarting the bay up, been to a few local meets and everyone wants to see the engine bay
