Show Us Your Motors!

2nd gen was definitely the sweet spot. 3rd gen the flares look skinnier and I really can't get on with that quite prominent ridge around the outer radius.

I just dislike the TT overall tbh, it's just an Audi fashion exercise more than anything of substance.

Drive one for a week and you will change your mind.

Looks like it's wearing a rocket bunny kit. Just need the rivets in the arches.

This forum amuses me. Posters would rather discuss the wheel arches on an Audi TT than the merits of real wheel drive V8 muscle and sports cars :p

Picked her up today, bloody epic car.

Where you on the M5 on Wednesday afternoon about 3ish?

I'm sure I saw one of these then and I wondered if it was yours.

I can't wait to get it back on Monday, its such a special car.

If I was not worried about resale i would not spec the bucket seats as they are a nightmare to get in and out of and I don't find them comfortable at all as I need more back support but other than that i can't fault the car.

From a person who drives a S15 Silvia I highly doubt it. It is a golf in a posh frock and always will be. Is the new generation TT actually a new car or more of a facelift? The roofline/ A pillar looks almost identical to the previous gen.

Brand new car. I think everyone who attended the motors meet would agree. The interior design is a game changer IMO.

He's right, it's an all-new car. Obviously it will look similar to the previous model - it's not going to look like a Volvo Estate is it.

Similar of course but the roof line looks identical. I guess that's typical Audi design philosophy

It's common sense.

Keeping things newer but similar:

a) Means the car will appeal to your core customer base
b) Keeps residuals stronger for the older models, which in turns props up the values of the newer models, which reduces financing costs and allows more competitive pricing
