If that screen could retract and slot into the dash at 90degrees then it'll look amazing.
Cheating slightly as it's not my motor as such, but I did the persuasion so I've got ownership of something...
My mum's new MX-5 Mk4 2.0L Sport-Nav replacing her 2011 Mini Cooper S. Had a play around (no driving for me sadly - I can't get my left foot on the clutch pedal (as my knee hits the dash) and my head is in the roof) and it's pleasingly well made, very well laid out for a driver-focused car, and the screen is fantastic to use with an I-Drive style controller, but also touch screen if you're sitting still. Slightly Merc-ish iPad alike but it puts the screen in the right place so you can just quickly glance as necessary.

Whoever works in the infotainment design team needs firing. It's like there has been no imagination or anything. It would actually look better if it was an actual iPad imo.

You can just imagine how they came up with the idea:
"We want to appeal to the younger markets, what makes the youth of today tick?"
"My son loves his iPad!"
"What an excellent idea Doris! Let's incorporate an iPad style design, that will really have our products flying off the shelves!"
But Steve, don't forget the youth of today are all unemployed, maybe we should appeal to people who actually have some money to buy our 30 grand cars.

I do hope you're ready for the noise it'll bring. Do you still have the standard exhaust system on it?
Stock exhaust yeah. May change if I keep the car for a while though. Trouble is most of the custom exhausts you can get made are really raspy... I just want the stock noise to be amplified a little.
Will see how loud it is. May be absolutely horrible and might get put back in straight away...

Start with the seats and live it like that for a couple of days because that's what made most of the difference to cabin noise in my Fiesta ST and it's more easily reversable if you don't like it
