Show Us Your Motors!

Cross post this from my thread. Not my car but still, always good to have a nosey at some photos.

Brother popped round today to take me for a spin in the current car he has to add 500 miles too. Cracking little car, a lot of fun with the size/power/quattro.

A few snaps.

Only 90 miles on it so far.

Colour is a good choice, same as the A1 I had a while back but with a black roof and pillars.

This car will be used in Audi driving experience. He had a Q7 before this. Looking forward to when he can start driving RS6s and R8s.

The quality and comfort of the commute doesn't concern me that much in complete honesty. On the motorway you are paying so much attention to your surrounsings, that you don't notice the noise level or the lack of creature comforts that much. As long as it is a comfortable temperature and it has a radio with travel news, that will do as far as I'm concerned. :)

It is the time which I am worried about. I just want to be at home when I drive home. Thats all I want. Maybe a heated massage seat, classic FM, a smooth ride, and complete silence would make the journey more relaxing, but I'm still just going to wish I'm at home. :)

I drove a lot for work. Used to get hire cars and the Avensis was a great long distance mile muncher. (Did many 8hr trips to Peterhead)

Got a company Golf now and it's horrid in comparison :( and that's still a lot better than a polo!

I have wanted a Boxster for a long time and recently found one that fit the bill.

It's a 2009 2.9 PDK with a couple of bits including heated sports seats, sports chrono and bluetooth plus a couple of bits that any regular human would assume were free. No, it's not an S but the PDK box does a good job of masking the lack of outright grunt and the 2.9 sounds great and revs really well.

Shot with my old M3 in the back which will be sorely missed *sob*.
