Show Us Your Motors!

Being a nice day and all that I managed to give my car a quick wash:

get some back to black on the bumpers and that will tidy it up a lot :)

I only gave it a quick wash. It definitely needs a detail, inside and out. I need to restock some 'gear' first though.

Duke! I'd never take off the 800 Sterling lookie-likey alloys! (yes they are alloys) Unless it's to clean them/the arches. ;)

It's not that sheddy though, it's actually in very good condition let alone for it's age. :)[/QUOTE]

Tidy car. Looks to be in excellent condition!! Bet you picked it up for next to nothing. What year is it, 94?

Full leather, electric rear windows... not a bad spec at all! Even my GSi-T doesn't have electric rear windows. Not keen on the interior though. If it was black it would be perfect.

If you ever want to get rid, give me a shout ;)

It's a '93 on a K. Had a feeling you might like it. :)

I actually really like the interior, it's a nice contrast to the paintwork. It needs a clean though. The Executive model is meant to be really rare as far as Mk1 400's go. Even when new, they didn't sell many of them.

It's got the Volumetric Alarm option, leather bound steering wheel.

Done 70k, 10 of which were in the last 6 years.

It was only meant as a stop-gap but the more I drive/sit in it the more I like it. :o

That'll be Nordic Blue if I'm not mistaken :) The Executive models are pretty rare, don't come up very often... but then, the Mk1 400 and Mk2 200s are getting rarer by the day... not many nice ones left now.

Sounds like it's pretty well spec'd. Has it got ABS/aircon? The wheel might be leather, but it's nasty! Had one in my 214. The later non airbag wheel is much nicer. Volumetric alarm, is that with the interior sensors? I don't think I've ever seen them in an early car before.

It'll have the T series engine too so should be pretty robust. 136bhp should be more than enough to get you moving :)

I'm pretty sure it's Steel Grey Metallic. I took the photo's with a P'n'S so the colour reproduction isn't the greatest. I'll take better ones with the DSLR when I've detailed it.

Not sure on ABS, it doesn't have A/C.

I'm not sure if the Volumetric Alarm works tbh. But it's definitely there in the headlining. It doesn't have remote central locking which was an option. Neither does it have the 6CD autochanger, but it did come with the R950 headunit as standard.

Need a norwich meet in a carpark somewhere so someone with a good camera can take lots of pics of the mini. It looks good under carpark light :P

Get the colour code and I'll find out for you/me :p :) Should be a plate on one of the lower B pillars (I think it's passenger side)

ABS, there'll be a large black/gold block between the battery and expansion tank. You can't miss it. Also, the yellow ABS light should come on for a few seconds everytime you turn the ignition on. 6CD autochanger is very very rare! I thought that was only on the 600/800 models

R950, is that the unit that has the controls for the changer? I didn't take much notice of the standard Rover headunit. I ditched it pretty much straight away.
