Current US hire car. Living the dream. Reminds me how small engines and auto boxes are a bad combination.

Cleaned and polished the S3 yesterday to put it up for sale :( Photos are huge for some reason so spoilered them

Chuffed with how well the Exhaust (backbox of at least) came out too :)

And an obligatory photo of the Noble from a run out to York a month or two ago, just for balance :)

I never find Intermediate cars like that sufficiently cheap to be worth it - it's never much more for something decent :p

I think it was about 10 dollar (said with tai hooker voice) to get the next one up....but they'd got none, or the one above so Foci it was.

Some kind of last minute dealy? I've more often than not had the opposite happen, been given the class up.

No idea, but when we collected it I waited for close to 1 hour for the line to go down and when I booked it a few days before many of the normals (Alamo/Enterprise etc) had no cars! I was chatting to a business man in the line behind me, he gave up and left and said 2 weeks before there were no cars at all when he arrived and had to sit and wait for 3 hours for 1 to arrive he could have! Time of year, city pickup/airport drop off probably all impact the options. To be fair I was happy with a Focus, good car and only has 5K on the clock. As I said in the US road trip thread the 5.0 also liked it as they pulled me over for 60 in a 35 :D

We have just got back from buying this for my mrs:
