Show Us Your Motors!

Its not just that, the colour match is off. :(

Things like that are accentuated by that style of photography though, I'd wager you'd never be able to tell in person. It looks stunning. Don't think I've ever seen a red one! :D

It's definitely the original paint on the door, the front wings have been repainted a couple of years ago and I can see it on a bright day compared to the bonnet. But that's being picky, I can't even tell in this image. It's got to be an alignment thing. The bump-strip shows it too..

The door definitely looks a slightly lighter shade of red than the front wing and the rear quarter to me. But no matter. Still got the E30?

It does look it, I know, but I think its a light and shade thing. I will have a closer inspection but its definitely the original paint. Doesn't stop different panels from changing over time slightly though, especially with red.
The E30 went after I got the M3. As much as I loved the E30, it wasn't right using it as a daily.

Hahaha! All of the above.
The plate was a gift (its not just "M3" as you can imagine!) although its grown on me. The tints I've been toying with peeling off (but I'm worried I'll miss them) and I guess the previous owner also changed the sidelights.

Fixed tbh. :p

Been smoking around in this for about a year, finally decided to use it properly:

This is easily achieved with enough postprocessing, i.e. changing of highlights/shadows - it's probably just an effect of the editing done on the photo.

Very nice!!! I always wanted an older on of these myself and would love one of these! How much is the insurance on one?

It costs me just under £500, as a mid twenties bloke with 6 years NCB and no convictions + business mileage - but it entirely depends how you + grey imports get along insurance wise. For some people they are extremely expensive, for me owning an import only adds £100 vs UK model (which there isn't one, for the Stagea at least).

Costs roughly equal insuring an Infiniti G35, Nissan 350z or 300zx TT for me. Feel free to throw my numberplate into a quote checker though, most sites know (sort of) what it is (often getting the 4WD wrong, or the transmission type)
