My only mission for today, which was to get the MOT done, failed, which left me at a bit of a loose end. So thought I'd at least treat it to a clean at least while the sun was out :)

What did it fail on?

Still a beautiful looking thing, the GT86, Toyota done good on that design.

Thanks. I do love the look of it, I wanted one since the moment I first clapped eyes on it. I still find myself looking back at it every time I walk away :)

It didn't fail the MOT....I usually go to the local JustMOT place in Strood, so I booked the car in for 8AM today a couple of weeks ago. But I turned up this morning and the place was shut and there was a sign on the door saying they'd gone into administration. Didn't get an email or a phone call or anything. Luckily the MOT doesn't run out until the end of the month, so I will get it done at a garage near where I work during the week.
 
Bought this today, I've been regretting getting rid of my old one for about 5 years so when one in the same colour, shape, spec, engine, year and mileage came up nearby in alright condition I just couldn't resist.

It's a 320i se, 1989, 120k miles, auto (the only difference between my old one and this).

The overall bodywork is pretty good, some rust on sills and bottoms of wings and near boot lock but nothing major, the floor seems good (although I'll be taking it to bits and seeing properly). Engine needs a new water pump as that is leaking but that'd be done anyway as there isn't much recent service info.

Anyway, pretty shabby by most standards here but I really like them and wanted a bit of a project anyway.
