It can't all be about tuned Volvos and old Mercs, (I have juct picked up another Volvo 850 mind you) sometimes you need 550cc's of awesomeness to have a giggle.

Bike engine in the future I feel, given it does around 58 mph downhill.

Love it, much better than those boring gas guzzlers on here.

I believe its the best offer he has had, and I can do it the soonest too.

Drove a 400 mile round trip in the MX5 today, 2-up with stuff in the boot and a hard top fitted on the way home, 40MPG. Decent!

They are frugal sat on the motorway. I averaged 39mpg over 700 miles going to the Dyno day last year followed by Cromer a week later.

Think about the mk1/mk2 swap hard. I understand your reasoning for swapping, but ultimately the mk2 is a better package.

Its fine, really. There is much more to the decision than which one drives better. I keep looking at MK1's wishing I had one instead of a MK2, and to me that is enough. It will bother me otherwise.

I have a thing for retro cool at the moment, as may be evident. The MK2 is too modern looking.
