For an old girl (15yr) she cleans up well and amazing how fresh the E46 still looks on the road:

Showing her age though as those front indicators are no more. I was accelerating and at rather high speed thought I'd hit a bird, then I got front light failure, pulled into a garden centre and my front drivers indicator was gone, just a cable, it had departed the car. :D
So fitted a new pair that matched the headlights so they now look like one piece, shall have to take a new photo as looks much cleaner on front.

Still amazes me how fresh these still look and unfortunately seem to be becoming a rarer site on the roads. :(

My favourite shape bmw. Much prefer the look of the facelift. The e9x was a step backwards in terms of 3 series appearance and whilst I didn't like it initially the f3x I think has redeemed it slightly but still doesn't come close.

Mine is not a facelift. ;)

But BMW made it very easy to update early cars to the newer facelift both looks and electronics wise. :)

Still probably the most capable car I've owned, its a car you can really attack a road with, but it took a lot of work to get it there, stock they are more capable GT car than sports car, but tweak them or get a CSL and they are very much full blown very capable sports cars and huge fun.

Picked the below up today after driving a top of the range Santa Fe around for a week, a slight come down in terms of spec but fits the criteria for what we want in a crossover/SUV. A bit gutted I couldn't justify the cost of a Premium for the wheels and leather but one of those things. Boot is similar to my Insignia which is good and the kids can easily fit in the back with plenty of leg room.
