Show Us Your Motors!

Just chilling and enjoying the view.

The landscape isn't bad either

In my defense I haven't cleaned the inside yet, that's tomorrows job. As it's only a week old I thought it may pass the OcUK mob. :D

Oh the touch screen is marked as soon as you touch it. It's a matt finish that just pulls the marks onto it.

They do Golf Rs with a manual driver's seat?...! If so, and I'm not just being a retard, that is the most perfect illustration of German option whoring that I've ever seen.

You can get a matte screen protector that won't finger smudge as easily, just get an iPad one and cut it to size. Luckily on my stereo, the screen doesn't really smudge easily, but also you don't need to touch the screen that much to get going, so it's mostly fine, else I'd go nuts!

The seats were nigh on £2k just for the manual ones. Electric was another £350! The options list on them nowadays is ridiculous. They had a mint MK1 GTi in the showroom, and I was looking at it thinking "It was so nice when you bought a car, and that was it."

*edit* Hmm good idea mrk, I'll grab one of those. It doesn't really bother me to be honest, can't see it when the screen is on.

What does one buy after an AUDI S6 (B6) AVANT?

Abarth 595 Competizione

My defence; I have about 18 months before I configure my Tesla Model 3 and I need to save some money. The AUDI costs a ton in fuel and much more in maintenance, combine that with buying a house and I wasn't saving fast enough. This is cheap and fun.

The plate.. I know, and I'm not changing it.

A kiddy I work with has the 500 Abarth so not quite as good as your 595 but he loves his little machine... I went out in his and must say it was A lot of fun for a car it's size and only being a 1.4 turbo it was impressive... He wants to get it remapped which he says will take it to 170bhp

Mine's the 160 model, a remap would take it to 170ish, not much headroom at all. Some people swap the 180 model's turbo in and map to about 190, and I'm keeping an eye out on another turbo that someone's trying that may be good for about 210/220ish.

It's quite fun already, but mostly because it has the Monza titanium exhaust with the bypass flap (it goes pop if you shift up just right), and it has the Koni dual path shocks, surprisingly composed.

I need to look at tyre options though, the Pirelli P Zero Neros on it now are pretty meh.

Bet that's a little rocket mate... Even with the stock exhaust on it sounds good.. When he puts it into Sport mode you hear the up shift pop's so with your Monza exhaust kit I bet that sounds immense...
