More American Car porn, my friends Red 2016 Camaro 2SS Convertible, another friends 2016 Ford Mustang GT Premium and my Blue 2016 Camaro 2SS.

Headed out for an afternoons road trip exploring, finding new quiet roads and some beach time. Tried to get some drone footage but we couldn't get the GPS follow function to work correctly, so that had to wait for now. Had my car nearly a year now next month, still puts a smile on my face.

I merely commented they were the same purchase price. Not that the 360 was even close to being a consideration

So what's the point in even mentioning it? A boat is the same purchase price as are 2 return tickets to Sydney in Emirates Suite Class.

Because the comparison between a 5 series and a 911 was already brought up, so I just mentioned the price comparison between these two cars at the time I purchased it.

For the sort of car it is, it's a pretty 'fun' car. If you buy it expecting it to be a 911 then you're mental. :p

Ha ha. I agree. I bought it as a family car, at which it excelled. And it was fun, for what it was. At the time, Ferarri F360's were at a similar price to what I paid for the F11, but that obviously isn't the type of car I was needing at the time.

Anyway, I've had enough of your baiting now. I replied to a comment with a relevant reply, and you go and make out like it's some sort of ridiculous thing that someone should comment on what things cost.

Perhaps it's just the angle, but that Mustang looked dwarfed compared to the Camaros!

Seeing as the mustang is a big car in UK terms, can't imagine what driving the Camaro over here would be like...

I passed a Camaro in the UK last weekend. My first thought is that it was huge. Was also surprised at how tall it seemed next to mine. (I also had to double take as at first I thought it was the very short lady driving it before I remembered that the steering wheel is on the wrong side).

Gave it a clean. Not perfect, but not bad for a car park job. Typically, it poured with rain a few minutes after I was done.

I love the colour but the rears need to be the same.

Yes but painting rear single piston calipers that show the back of the pad I feel aint worth painting, plus not hearing the whole idea of removing rear calipers and downing the car for a couple of weeks to get it done and as the rear calipers are that rough textured surface they would never have the gloss or factory finish of the fronts.

The only solution I can think of:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Red-MGP-Cal...tang-GT-Rear-/152102223270?fits=Model:Mustang

Is covers that give the same gloss look, but completely de-logo them or add a custom logo.

The only other option is rear brembo kit, but at £5000 its just a waste of money really, the covers seem the best solution but no idea how they look in the flesh as in do they look total junk or are they actuall an improvement over the stock rear single piston caliper or is it best just as it is now, leave the rears not so shouty.

At the meet this weekend a crowd formed around my car and all they were all pointing at was the calipers, they were a massive hit and people asking about the colour and how I did it. Thankfully loads were put off when I told them its a caliper off job and not an off the shelf paint, so in theory won't be too many other Mustangs rocking such a colour as not every Mustang owner is fortunate enough as me to have literally every part on the car available to borrow as my mate has garaged his now and is doing a full Shelby GT 350 conversion in it cosmetically, so has just spent around $10,000 with Ford USA on all the body parts, fasteners, clips, screws etc to convert the front-end to an authentic GT 350. He is not doing engine as at 800+ horsepower he is running now, to drop a 5.2l in there would be a downgrade and the 5.2l does not like boost like the 5.0 does. :)

Actually just found this video:

Fronts look naff, but fast forward to 3 minutes in and the rears do a good job of covering the whole rear caliper.
