Big fan of the new MX-5 RFs, looks really nice especially with the black plate.

With the 370Z interior, I'd take physical buttons any day over fumbling with a touchscreen whilst driving.

agreed.

I love the 370z interior.

how do you find the rev match @Ace Modder ? very intrusive or do you like it?

The rev matching is very subtle but good. Mostly just feel it when down shifting, don't really notice much when upshifting. The car is much quieter than I expected, I know it isn't a V8 but I would like a little more noise from it (I had a scooby which was fully decatted before, so maybe it is making my expectations rather unrealistic)

awesome, I have 370z non nismo(too rich for me) as my possible next car. I've heard they're a bit.. quiet stock. Hence the huge after market exhaust wise :)

Rev match is for downshifts only....

It gets quite aural high up in the revs, but you're right, quiet down low.

it's both, up/down it keeps the revs on the upshift :)

Well as the engine isn't bedded in yet (still only on 240miles total) I haven't given it the full beans experience yet. ;)

And it does match when upshifting too

Around 5500 and above it sounds amazing! I actually like it being fairly quiet while you're just cruising around.

Get it run in ASAP and have some fun.

Collected today :)

Very good

Really? Rev matching on upshift? That's a new one on me..

The gearshift sensors monitor gear position as well as side-to-side shifter movement and are sensitive enough that you can hold down the clutch pedal and watch the revs jump precisely to the right rpm if you merely hint at moving the shift lever to a lower gear. But it’s not just for downshifts; SRM also sticks the engine speed at the targeted rpm during upshifts to prevent any lumpiness that might result from letting the revs drop too low. And if you push in the clutch pedal but don’t change gears, the engine will adjust to the proper revs before the clutch is fully reengaged.

My Mustang does this too, its called shift assist, when I tuned the car I had the tuner leave it enabled as I quite like it. :)

Never being a huge fan of the 350/370Z, its a good all rounder, but for me does not stand out at me.

But having seen Lee's 370Z NISMO in the flesh, its like a small person, who did some muscle building and took steroids, I love the aggression and attitude on the styling, small but strong with its arch flares and vents. Really does scream mini-GTR, but that's meant as a good thing.

Interior wise, yes it looks bland, most Jap cars do, but the quality is nice, the doors, dash is all soft touch leather/plastics, does not feel cheap in anyway at all, its just not pretty to look at. The seats are superb and its a functional interior for what is essentially a sports/GT car.

Great car and lets face it there are not many true drivers cars left that offer RWD, NA big engine with good power, manual transmission, the 370Z is one and surprises me why they don't sell more.
