I recall a similar scenario when a few of us mentioned how intense a body restoration can be ;) and whilst what you've done so far is alright you can now appreciate some of the comments people made at the very start of the project.
 
I could press on and build it to 300HP instead which would still make it rapid, but not as rapid as I was aiming for.

Have you ever driven anything over 200bhp? The difference between 2 and 300bhp is quite something. You certainly wouldn't be sat there thinking... '300bhp sux, if only I had an extra hundred'

The difference between the 170hp it has now and 250hp is going to be pretty big let alone the difference between 170 and 400

Yeah I test drove a Mazda 3 MPS with a BBR 320 kit, it was awesome! So I do see your point! But originally I wanted 400HP so I could take it to the drags with a bit of sleeper status, but drive it on low boost at 300~ most of the time.
