The chances of Acme building a 400 bhp e30 is about as likely as England winning the World Cup.![]()
I'm sure it'll happen (might take another 52 years though)

It will happen but not for a while now. Its been put on the backburner

Surprisingly![]()
It's... it's like we told you this!It will happen but not for a while now. Its been put on the backburner after talking to some people who said I should really only go to 300 without rebuilding the engine with new rings, bearings, and seals. Can't be bothered with the effort for 300 so I'll wait until the engine is re-built in future, and play with N/A mods for now.![]()

But the block is good for 500hp!![]()

If you fully re-build it with new stock internals first...
Probably going to do some head and intake mods for now. Blahh. lol
and whilst what you've done so far is alright you can now appreciate some of the comments people made at the very start of the project.I could press on and build it to 300HP instead which would still make it rapid, but not as rapid as I was aiming for.

I recall a similar scenario when a few of us mentioned how intense a body restoration can beand whilst what you've done so far is alright you can now appreciate some of the comments people made at the very start of the project.

The difference between the 170hp it has now and 250hp is going to be pretty big let alone the difference between 170 and 400

Have you ever driven anything over 200bhp? The difference between 2 and 300bhp is quite something. You certainly wouldn't be sat there thinking... '300bhp sux, if only I had an extra hundred'
So like what’s actually happening. Are you going through with this?
