I don't want to be boring but assuming you're driving faster than 10mph rather than posing, always wear a helmet on the ring.

Any track day, especially the ring, is unforgiving.

Source: wrote off my 911 at >100mph and lived. Didn't plan to do it obviously. But had a helmet on and the huge crack in it would have been unpleasant on my skull.

It definitely didn't knock sense into me as I replaced the 911 with an M2 :D
 
Normally would... but with Tourist Fahrten it was nice to experience driving quickly on a place like that without a helmet.

I was treating it more like fast road driving rather than a proper track day... but you're right in that helmet still makes sense.

I'm back for a close track day on 24th Aug and that'll be a helmet day and I'll be pushing more.
 
Good choice! I saw quite a few of these in Germany and I really liked them. I think they've got the styling just right, just about the right amount of "look at me", whilst remaining understated.
