Where and when? It only had 110 ish when new 27 years ago.
How many MOTs does it have left? As in months
6 months, only driven something like 30 miles since the MOT prior as well.
Nah the paint is beyond saving.

When I saw the plate, the first thing I thought of was “here we go again” - seems quite fitting

Bit more creative IMO than the usual charity type bands.I also rather like that Acme. I'd personally leave the paint as it is and concentrate on the mechanical side.

No reported rust on the MOT database! (Just means they haven't found it yet).

Mine is silid..never been welded either. All OEM weld spots on arches etc. You can find them, especially with imports.
Means nothing, someone could have gone to the lengths of doing rust repairs properly and used genuine rear quarter panels
At my site it was never anything to do with quick evacuations - you wouldn't use a vehicle for a quick evac as it could result in congestion. It was all about reduction of accidents when pulling out of the space as it's easier to see when pulling out forwards rather than reversing.
If it has been welded, then its been done properly. But it looks like it's never been welded.
Found a bit of crisp on the bottom of one of the sills though! So not totally rot free after all, but I'm going to leave it alone.

I still think your MX5 is one of my favourite MX5s on here and across other forums I frequent. The colour is superb, the look just works, though I think I’d probably have 10 or 15mm extra ride height, but that’s just because of the types of roads I know I throw mine down!
