Come pick me up for lunch, I'm near St James ParkWait til you hear it, doesn’t need any bigger![]()
its the most solid mx5 ive bought tbh.. more solid than my turbo'd one was lol
My first one had new arches and sills (done properly with a proper folder of project log pictures) and a full re-spray, LSD, full leather with red piping, factory Nardi, etc.
But they forgot about the chassis rails, which were well on the way to rotting out....
Not as bad as some though, including Frozennovas, but I just thought it was funny they totally missed them.
Second was the most ****ed, rotten arches and sills all fillered and undersealed, rotten boot floor, rotten scuttle...
Fortunately the current one is really really solid and never welded! One sill may need some TLC in a year or so but at the moment its just a little bubble on the bottom. If I keep it any length of time I'll weld in a repair section.
No rust on kine
I wish I found something like this when I sold my turbo'd five. Otherwise I would have just swapped running gear over.. Problem is now I got an itch to turbo this one.. But got so many other projects to finish as well.. lol
Just bought this.. for some reason

Nice Aston. Though I feel the plate/reg isn't that classy.
Not hating but I just don't get the MX5 - though I suspect a lot of that is because I don't feel comfortable in low down cars - if I'm driving something smaller I'm much more hot hatch oriented.
