Not had the car all week while it’s been detailed. Had a decent amount of work done

- 2 stage correction
- Crystal Serum ceramic coating with 2 coats of Exo on top
- All external glass coated with Carbon Collective Platinum glass
- Wheels off and coated with Carbon Collective Wheel Coating
- Arches coated
- Engine bay full clean and coatings where appropriate
- Leather treated and coated with GTechniq leather protection

It looks absolutely phenomenal. So chuffed with it. Almost a shame to drive it and get it dirty

Can't have had much change out of £1500 I'm guessing?

How much did the paintwork protection part of that cost? And how long is the treatment supposed to last with regular washing?

I will eventually need to look into it when I've had my car resprayed. :o

A shot of the Aston & Honda together, need to erect a third garage and am also redoing garage interiors to make them smart on inside but for now got the outside looking how I wanted in slate grey. :)

You're way over.

I'd put a coating at about £250.

If you're having your car resprayed I'd expect to pay around £600-£800 as it'll need a single stage, wipe down and coating.

He said a 2 stage correction, and then a coating, and then some other kind of coating, and then the wheel thing, the arch thing, interior stuff, engine bay stuff, etc.

600 would be good. :p It is a very small car by modern standards. Less surface area than a new Mini.

Pretty much every detailer will sort your interior and wheels in a package. I could dig out my invoice but yeah if it was £1500 I hope he got a 3 course meal and a kiss before the deed was done.

I mean not to be a dick but GTechniq need to catch up Gyeon have got their pants down and are dominating the market and this is coming from someone that likes to support local business.

I mean, I wont want them to touch my interior because its highly likely that it wont even have the same interior when its "finished", the carpet is a bit rotten, and there will still be no headliner, and a cracked dash. Bit pointless. :D

I paid £750, which is a bit cheaper than it normally would be but I’m friends with the guy so I get a smallish discount.

In terms of Gyeon vs GTecnhniq, Gyeon are superior for nearly all their products, and he uses their products for a lot of things. But their coatings are still pretty poor in comparison so he’s still not using those yet

Quite impressed by that price!

bargain!

M135i, had the car nearly a week now.

1 previous owner, 29k miles, auto, sunroof, sensors, power mirrors......and now my daily driver.

Only planning to respray the exhaust tips and carbon wrap the silver canards, grill surround, rear defuser and mirrors. Wheels have also been given a full refurb in Gunmetal Grey.

Still getting used to how silly and accessible the power is. Always had manuals so still getting used to the ZF 8 speed auto.
