Show Us Your Motors!

Possible stupid question in bound... When using snow foam, do you just spray it on and leave it? No brushes?

Two options spray and leave for ten minutes not in sunlight, helps soften all the stuck and dried on dirt/dust, the other option like what your car washes do is spray it on and then rub down the car, I do not advise the latter however.

A little random but did you happen to be in Hitchin with the Corvette Saturday just gone?

Saw a Pace Car Corvette parked up along Hermitage Road, along with a few hot rods and other random cars, and did wonder if it was yours or not. Looked amazing either way

Was not me I am afraid, so a lucky spot as the number in the UK is believe to be 8-12 UK cars which about three of those are driven on a regular basis, myself been one of the driven examples. :)

Not having owned a convertible before, it’s crazy how bloody dusty and dirty it gets inside! All sorts of ***** flies in like stones and dust, but that’s probably due to it being a Caterham. Had a tractor shower me with hay this afternoon :(

Haven’t driven it without doors, not sure I will. It’s quite unrefined with the “doors” in place as it is... :D

Looks great we make lots of parts for Caterham at work (turned components etc) , always nice to see one in all its glory

Haha yes! Leave top down in may/June and it'll be covered in pollen :D looks great tho!

Great for my hay fever and pollen allergies :(

It’s mainly just road dirt and grime. I’ve ordered some more terry towels I can see I’ll be wiping the interior down much more often than normal!

Yea that's what I do, dust it off and that is it. I've tried a few anti static interior detailers and it does feel like they reduce the stickyness a bit and it blows out but nothing will really prevent it.

That’s cool! Thanks :)

Aye. The road is an inherently dirty place :p
It’s just not something I had thought about as everything I’ve ever owned before was a tin-top.

I want a go!

Back to its natural mode of transport! :D

tbf i've owned it for 12 years and this is the first time its broken down, zero fuel pressure, fuel pump sounded like it was ok so i suspect the FPR gave up the ghost.

I want a go!
Hehe maybe if there’s a Southern Meet one of these days once the borders are open and COVID goes away.. Must be 10 years now since the one I went to.

This one is only a lowly 275 (EU-spec 270) with 136bhp. Plenty fast for me as it won’t be seeing a track and anything much more powerful on the road will most likely leave my kids fatherless :o

There are quite a few members on here with some crazy spec Caterfield jobbies!

Finally I can add to this thread. Arrived yesterday, made up with it.

Very nice! Which power output?
These are lovely. You can definitely feel the weight, but they don’t half shift!

Great interior materials and build quality too. Enjoy!
I went for the Quattro 55, 300kW 95kWh.
Just getting used to going from a manual civic to high up automatic with so many gadgets.

At least it still looks cool, even on the back of a lorry;)
It's one way of saving fuel for sure!

That is a beautiful car. How long until its back on the road?

Thanks, got a new fpr ordered which hopefully turns up tomorrow then it should be a 30 job swapping it out (wishful thinking :D) . That's if it is the fpr else it's likely the pump which would be annoying as it's brand new.

A coupe of my 275 Trophy after cleaning it today, paint is looking fantastic still but the wheels are letting it down due to just paint fading and brake dust eating away at the corners so going to get those sorted.
