Show Us Your Motors!

Collected my DBX 707 at the start of Nov. Aston Martin Racing green with Sandstorm/onyx black interior.

Ticked over 1200 miles now and the car is phenomenal.

I post mainly on PH now.
Got another Supra (new 22MY with the suspension/handling updates) for playing about on track. It's not standard anymore:
I really like your gates and front wall, perfect for keeping out the peasants.

Loving the new DBX, BRG is a great colour and the light interior complements it really well :D

This was entertaining. 1.98m on the car park height and in access mode it’s 1.92m. A case of “below and beyond” instead. Ha.

Funny you should post this as I couldn’t get the DBX into certain car parks when it had the roof box on last summer. Made me think about defenders as there is loads around here. DBX is just under 2m like the defender in access mode with the box, 1.68m without the box and still I duck aha. Surely any defender with roof bars/box is going to struggle in a multi storey.

Yeah deffo. I was only really happy to go in as I know the car park for the annual pantomime and no ramps or level changes else I wouldn’t risk it. Had my teenage son stood up with the roof open checking the antenna pod was clear :cry: Took my mum so needed the extra seats over the IPACE…. That would have been far less stress although atleast I knew I wouldn’t to kerb the wheels there like I did on the Evoque a few years ago. :eek:

thanks! I see previous owners return to them time after time.. probably why I plan to keep mine as long as I can.

Honestly they're awesome cars, my 3;

1st '99 modified and thrashed before my ownership, sold it to buy a R32 GTR (ironically cheaper than my S2000 back then!)
2nd '02 more oem+ type stuff done to it by me, covered 35k miles incl driving to Italy for Monza F1, best driving moments in that car in the alps etc. Sold it to go more boring daily and regretted it hence #3 coming along
3rd '54, spontaneous ebay bidding purchase, bought very well, split up with my ex and needed something that could move things so the S2k had to go (was my daily alongside my Noble at the time)

Although I often find myself looking at (and have owned) DC5s instead now, not as special but more practical, even if the S2000 does have a deceptively large boot if you do away with the foam underboot area. Every car I fitted heated seats to though, should've been that way from factory.

Fed up with ferrying mini-me to nursery over 11 speed bumps each way in my 911 so bought a (nearly) 200k mile 525i SE Touring.

For £1400, what could possibly go wrong? :D
