Show Us Your Motors!

Went to Scotland at the beginning of the month with some mates, did the NC500 and a bit more to boot. Mega week, the weather was great, it barely rained the whole time, did the Cairngorms, NC500, Skye, climbed Storr, Glencoe and lots more.

Some photos of the filthy brake dust covered car, which was faultless and such a good car to drive those roads....

Man that's a throw back, I had one of these I think maybe 5 years ago now same wheels but mine was Coupe, wish I'd hung onto it.

I was just embedding for the quoted reply, BUT I have been looking and it's in the shortlist for my spring car shopping. They have aged so well.

Got a few more months/track days with the MX-5.

What have you gone for? New Mustang?
Definitely not.

Test drove this on Saturday.

Drives exactly the same as mine, has a bit more tech inside and under new legislation it bongs at you for everything. If this is the way new cars are going I don't want them.

New one some will see as a downgrade but for what I want I don't think it is. Will reveal end of the week!

My batmobile xD

I did look into a Stang, but a Dark Horse is like £73k now, which seems a bit toppy.
Upsides of the Stang would have been the tech (screen), actually having somewhere to throw stuff behind the front seats, and a much larger boot.
Cabin in the F-Type is a bit tight, boot is small, the satnav / screen is hopeless, but the pano fixed glass roof helps make it feel less claustrophobic.
Ride / Handling on the F-Type suits me just fine - it has a dual personality.
Comfy fluffy cat in normal mode, claws-out in angry mode.

I looked at the F Type too - but I just didn't like the interior. It's like they put 4 of their appearance stat points on the exterior and only had the 1 point left for the interior (it does look great tbh, I can't help but stare when I see one).
The dark horse is hella pricey -- that's why I didn't get one :D :D :D I was being "frugal" -- I even picked up the 2017 'cause the tax is SOMEHOW only £190 a year.

It’s probably the quickest of the 3 around a city, and room for Robin in the back :p

Probably... But you'd still hear mine from the other end of the city and it'd make you happy inside; 'cause that's what my exhaust does - it makes you happy xD (and makes you feel safe, knowing Batman is out there - watching, waiting)
