Show Us Your Motors!

really doesn't look that bad guys, cmon. you comparing it to a top of the range 335 or something?

I'm not overly impressed by some of the interior details of an E92/E90 either considering how much they cost. An E46 sport is better put together inside (heavier doors, higher quality plastic, tougher buttons, anthracite visors etc) but the E90 is obviously more stylish (modern).

It's a case of not getting the quality being paid for.

a living room is a place you relax in, part of your home, a big aspect of home living. a car is a means of transport between A and B, realistically you can't compare the two. but that sure as hell doesnt look like a nightmare to 'live' in.

Some peoples commutes are longer than they spend relaxing at home, what's wrong with being in a nice place when you spend a big chuck of your day in it.
:)
That interior is not bad, i'd say for the most part its better than most VW's or Audi's, its just a shame that were its poor its really poor.

Chances are if you are spending that much on a car, you'd think of a car more than an A to B device?

20k new? hmm not exactly a price for the exclusive rich who expect such luxuries imo. only car enthusiasts see a car as more than a commuter surely?

put it this way, what for 20k would you buy that looks as good as that with a more 'impressive' interior?

i think you would have to be in the 30k zone + and go top spec german to see a significant improvement in interior.

that just seems to be the norm these days, especially in this price bracket. i had a brand spankers golf bluemotion thingy not long back for a week or so, certainly wasnt anything above that inside and thats pretty much same list bracket.

If you can understand why people want a nice living room, you can understand why people want a nice cabin.

Perfectly made, that point. I don't really get the people who apparently dont care. Do they sit on plastic garden chairs in an empty living room and watch a TV perched on a box?

I think the point here is that the Peugeot aint too terrible.

What i cant quite grasp is how he decided it was a better place to be than a Cayman.

Personally I think its got the best interior on any Peugeot I've ever seen. Absolutely love the liberal amount of leather, lovely.

He probably didnt decide it was better than a Cayman, but a better buy - after all running a new Peugeot is a different proposition to running a 4 year old Porsche?

I did look at all sorts before buying it BMW 3 coupe, Audi A5 S-line, Audi TTRS, Focus RS, Porsche Cayman, but to me nothing felt as special look at, to sit in and to drive as the RCZ.

Thats what he said.

to be fair, i seem to recall that JC, tim harvey and the late richard burns all rated the a certain 1.6 front wheel drive Peugeot a better drive than the 911, M3, NSX, Elise etc a few years ago :p

That was in the days before Peugeot completely lost the plot. These days they couldnt make a decent handling car if the company depended on it.

Stuck in traffic tonight, if anyone is wandering this is what it looks like when driving in traffic in a Mini! :o
